what is a trivial culture versus a captive culture

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A trivial culture is a mere speculation of one's own perception. A captive culture is a culture in which one develops feelings for everyone in the community. For instance, the trivial culture in Capitalistic life. Ex. 2: Captive culture, The sharing of the Indians valuables to one another, versus the greediness of Capitalism, don't get confused with Socialism though.
