Michelle rents a movie for a flat fee of $1.50 plus an additional $1.25 for each night she keeps the movie. Choose the cost function that represents this scenario if x equals the number of nights Michelle has the movie. c(x) = 1.50 + 1.25x c(x) = 1.50x + 1.25 c(x) = 2.75 c(x) = (1.50 + 1.25)x

one night would be 1.50 2 nights would be 2 nights would be 4.25 and 3 nights would be 5.50? @AkashdeepDeb

Not quite. See when this guy rents the video itself he has to pay 1.50 bucks. And then for 1 night more he has to pay 1.25(1) 2 nights he has to pay 1.25(2) 3 nights he has to pay 1.25(3) And so for x nights he has to pay 1.25(x) Now which option do you think is the right one for cost?
