Why is there always some waste heat in a heat engine? *Entropy decreases at each stage *Engine isn't as efficient as it could be *Entropy increases at each stage *Energy is being used up. I think its the 3rd one? Correct if wrong please!

*Engine isn't as efficient as it could be Not all the work is 100% transfer into mechanical work, some of the work is loss as heat.
