Is mud a suspension, solution, or colloid?

OpenStudy (abb0t):

Do you know the definition of each? \( \sf\color{blue}{suspension}\): suspension is a heterogenous mixture containing solid particles that are sufficiently large for sedimentation \(\sf\color{red}{solution}\): A solution is a homogeneous mixture of two or more substances \(\sf\color{green}{colloid}\): A type of homogeneous mixture in which the dispersed particles do not settle out. (butter, milk, fog, ink).

Is it a suspension?

OpenStudy (abb0t):

For this, I would agree the answer is a \(suspension\). This is a bit difficult to answer since mud that is watery can also be considered a colloid.

What about blood and gasoline? Would gasoline be a solution and blood be a colloid? @abb0t
