State the range of the numbers displayed in column x and column y. x y 1 5 2 7 3 9

please help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

range is also y-values..

OpenStudy (debbieg):

heh... that's kind of weird wording, as "numbers" don't have ranges, but relations do, and relations are collection of pairs (x,y). So I'm assuming that these values for x and y are a relation. Then the range just means the set of all the SECOND coordinates, e.g., the y values.

thank yall

OpenStudy (debbieg):

you're welcome. :)

If f(x)=2x^3-3x+1, find f(3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just plug x=3 in the function.
