What is the slope of a line with the points forty-one comma thirty-three and sixty-two comma twenty-seven? a.zero b.positive c.undefined d.negative

There are couple ways to do this. I get negative either way. You have points \[A(41,33)\phantom{space} B(62,27)\] You can notice that the point B has a lower y value than A but a higher x value This means that further on the graph, the point is lower meaning a negative slope. You could always calculate the slope by using the slope formula \[m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}\] In which case you get \[m=\frac{27-33}{62-41}=\frac{-5}{21}=-\frac{5}{21}\] This is a negative slope.
