Find f(x) and g(x) so the function can be expressed as y = f(g(x)). y=absolute value of 3x-2

OpenStudy (amriju):

` g(x)=3x-2...f(x)=|x|

can you explain why

OpenStudy (amriju):

f(g(x))=y=|3x-2|..correct...so we have the mod function over the function of (3x-2)..i.e u have a function that gives u a result of 3x-2..at the point x..and another function that gives u the absolute value of the former function...so the latter function..thats f(x) has to be modulus function...and the former function thats g(x) must be 3x-2...get it??
