unless you actually ahve to go thru the process .. just input the options to determine the correct one
OpenStudy (amistre64):
and you seem to be missing a y part in the first one
OpenStudy (amistre64):
do you have to run it by hand? or can you use a calculator like a ti83?
OpenStudy (explainitlikeimfive):
I can use a calculator.

then use it.
OpenStudy (explainitlikeimfive):
I don't know how to use the Gauss-Jordan elimination method. Is there a different way of doing it?
OpenStudy (amistre64):
what kind of calculator you got?
OpenStudy (amistre64):
and yeah, there are other ways to approach it
OpenStudy (explainitlikeimfive):
ti 84

go to your matrix functions and setup a 3x4 matrix to rref
OpenStudy (amistre64):
2nd, math is the key presses for a ti83
OpenStudy (explainitlikeimfive):
If i did this right, I would choose D.
OpenStudy (amistre64):
rref{{3,-7,-7,7},{6,4,-3,67},{-6,-3,1,-62}}

you need to recheck your information ....
OpenStudy (explainitlikeimfive):
reworking......
OpenStudy (explainitlikeimfive):
Didn't even come close that time.
OpenStudy (amistre64):
your setup and the options do not match
OpenStudy (explainitlikeimfive):
So none of the choices are correct?

OpenStudy (amistre64):
nothing matches up ... so i do not see any correct solutions
OpenStudy (amistre64):
i might have the first equation off tho, it that spose to be a -7 in there? or a -7y?
OpenStudy (explainitlikeimfive):
I think the first equation should be 3x - 7y - 7z = 7 not 3x - 7 - 7z = 7
OpenStudy (explainitlikeimfive):
Aha, so it would be D after all.

the first equation is good as is with the options available
OpenStudy (explainitlikeimfive):
Thanks
