The local community park is designing a pool using the Golden Ratio. If the pool is 40 feet wide, about how long should it be? A. 65 feet B. 100 feet C. 125 feet D. 80 feet

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The Golden ratio is 1.618

OpenStudy (kinggeorge):

The real easy way to do this, would be to multiply \(40\cdot 1.618\), and that should be your solution.

65

OpenStudy (kinggeorge):

Sounds about right to me.
