OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you. anyhelp on this question? thanks for the link

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

I'd suggest that you may try it out and write your steps here. I'll check it out.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks :-)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x^2-8x=? x^2-8x+-4^2=19 (x-4)^2=19 x-4=+√19 x-4=-√19 x=4+√19 or x=4-√19

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

You missed one thing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What's that?

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

You added (-4)^2 on side of the equation. You will have to add it on the other side of the equation too

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OK Thanks

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

x^2-8x=? x^2-8x+(-4)^2=19 + (-4)^2
