An Inorganic chemist can understand organic chemistry, but an organic chemist can't understand inorganic chemistry.

I have always heard that organic chemistry is the chemistry of carbon. The compounds and interactions of carbon are extremely complex. But I think that, as we find out more about the elements, we will realize that every element is extremely complex.
