Question

Can someone tell me if I have a secant line who's points are X=1 & X=(1+h) which one is my limit? Is it as h approaches 1 or as h approaches 0? Or do I do both because its a segment?

as h->0 the two points 1 and 1+h come closer together.
the secant line comes closer to being a tangent at 1
