i want to make a vehicle prototype which when comes near an obstacle....changes direction automatically while moving. Any suggestions on how to do so..??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well im not very sure but maybe you can take apart a hex bug larva and use the parts for it? :D (im only a middle schooler but this is the best I can think of)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think sensors should be used to create something like that

OpenStudy (theeric):

There might be little radar sensors and probably microchips to work them.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yaa but i wanna make it without using any programming(microcontrollers)... any suggestions..?

OpenStudy (theeric):

Hmm... I read about orienting a robot towards light.. But not a wall! I wonder if a sensor for radar could have an output that could cause the wheel motors to be powered such that the robot turns. Like|dw:1378059287104:dw|
