Help please! What is the radius of a circle with a circumference of 14.13 meters? Use 3.14 for pi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So we have radius, \(r\) and we have circumference, \(C\). We know that \(C=2\pi r\) So we can substitute in what we know. \[C=2\pi r\] \[14.13=2\pi r\] And we can isolate for \(r\)! \[r=\frac{14.13}{2\pi} \dot{=}\frac{14.13}{2(3.14)} \dot{=} \frac{14.13}{6.28}=2\frac{1}{4}=2.25\]
