hi can you help me with is question ATP and NADH were each used to make 1 mM solutions and their absorbances measured at max= 259 nm (ATP) and at max = 340 nm (NADH), which solution will absorb more light? Why?

OpenStudy (ookawaiioo):

Absorbance is proportional to concentration. So they would absorb the same amount if each are 1mM.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sothe different wavelegth does not matter?

OpenStudy (ookawaiioo):

Nope, it doesnt matter. Its just the wavelength they absorb their maximum light.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so if we were to draw a graphic representation of this with x as te concentration and y as the absorbance how will it look like
