due to that, we know that the Mid Segment of the trapezoid is 6x-24 rather, darn, I use + in the graph, anyhow
so we know that, so we can say that $\bf \cfrac{base1+base2}{2} = \textit{mid segment} \implies \cfrac{(5) + (2x+7)}{2} = 6x-24$

solve for "x"
