Question

Herewith the two verses so far written of my poem. I'm not sure exactly where in the poem they will be, but anyway:

You say forgive me, but please understand
That is is difficult. It is not that I don't want to
Its just sometimes hard to do.

You say you haven't changed, but please understand
This is not true. You may think it is just your life
But I must adjust to it too.
