If ATP and NADH were each used to make 1 mM solutions and their absorbances measured at max= 259 nm (ATP) and at max = 340 nm (NADH), which solution will absorb more light? Why? (2) Draw an approximate graphical representation of absorbance at max (y axis) vs. concentration (x axis) of ATP and NADH. Since you should have two curves on your graph, make sure you label which line is which. Which compound displays the larger slope?

OpenStudy (aaronq):

Maximum absorbancy at a certain wavelength doesn't indicate which species absorbed more photons, only at which wavelength it will absorb the most photons. Is there any additional info?
