Can two planes intersect a third plane without intersecting each other?

I drew the planes from the side so you only see a line because I shudder to think of the consequences if I tried to draw legitimate planes.

But you see how that would work? Kind of like how two lines can intersect a third line without touching. They just need to be parallel.

yea. i think i still haven't completely wrapped my mind around that concept. you can probably tell that geometry is not my thing. haha.
