Can someone help me check my answers? Q1: For which equation would you subtract 3, and then multiply by 9 to solve? A. 9k + 3 = 40 B. k/9 + 3 = 40 C. 9k - 3 = 40 D. k/9 - 3 = 40 I think D.

Its B, remember that when you shift a number to the other side of the equals sign, you must invert it's sign.

k/9 = 40 - 3 You should be able to follow the rest from there.
