If you split that evenly for the weeks, you have 25 per week.

y=100 - 25x

I am not sure it could be anything else, because they only give you two variables.

The 100 comes from the 100 you have for food.
The 25 comes from how much per week.
If you continually add or subtract a number weekly, you would add x, making it 25x.
