(Best answer & fan to how ever helps first) Very important please reply ASAP I have this question (5)^-5 (5)^7 Ok so can I just add the exponents or do I need to turn (5)^-5 into a fraction to make it positive first?

add then exponents first (as the base is same 5 in both cases) and then simplify further
