OpenStudy (anonymous):

a spherical fish bowl has a radius of 21 cm. how many mL of water is needed to fill half of the bowl? can you explain it please?

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

I have never seen a spherical fish bowl Have you? All right here they are asking as for the volume in ml. And on thing to be known is that 1cm^3 = 1ml So we just have to find the volume of the HEMI-SPHERICAL BOWL! Which is given by 2/3 * pi * r * r * r Just calculate that and you'll get the answer! :D
