The earth is losing mass (elements). The only thing entering and leaving the earth is energy. The earth is gaining mass (elements).

"All of the elements of the earth are retained." No, some decay into other elements. "The earth is losing mass (elements)" mass=/= elements. The earth is not losing mass, but elements, yes (see question above). "The only thing entering and leaving the earth is energy" nope, meteorites introduce mass into earth (although very minimal). "The earth is gaining mass (elements)" See above question.
