any help?

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

\(\bf \cfrac{4-6|3-5|}{3} \quad ?\)

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

say, what's the absolute value of say |-2| or |-25| ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2 and 25

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

so what would be the absolute value of |3-5| ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2 right?

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

yes

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

\(\bf \cfrac{4-6|3-5|}{3} \implies \cfrac{4-6\times 2}{3}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so then i do 6 times 2 which is 12 then subtract it by 4 which is -8?

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

yes \(\bf \cfrac{4-6|3-5|}{3} \implies \cfrac{4-6\times 2}{3}\implies -\cfrac{8}{3}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you so much :]

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):
