Every set will have itself and null set as a subset!
And the number of subsets can be found out by 2^n [n being the number of elements in the set]
So here the subsets would be like these...
{} , {4} , {8} , {12} , {4,8} , {4,12} , {8,12} , {4,8,12}
Now just for example
{4) is a SUBSET OF the set.
But
4 BELONGS TO the set!! :D
