The function for the cost of materials to make a hat is f(x) = one half x + 1, where x is the number of hats. The function for the selling price of those hats is g(f(x)), where g(x) = x + 2. Find the selling price of 10 hats. a: 6 b: 8 c: 10 d: 12 i did the problem but my answer was wayyyyyyy off . someone show me how to solve and what the correct answer is ?

x + 2 ^ plug in .5x+1 here aka price of hat

from the above i got ( .5x+1)+2 Then you plug in 10 hats ( .5*10+1)+2=8
