mow I'm even more confused the research I did said Two is A, the rib cage moves up and out, the diaphragm contracts lowering the pressure below the lungs causing the net pressure to be higher in the lungs, thus they inflate. The increase in difference in pressure in the lungs causes them to expand, this means that rib cage must move up and out in order to compensate for the increased volume of air.
