Okay this shouldnt be too hard. If I have a radical 8 times a radical 6 is the answer radical 48?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

That is one possible answer, but generally not considered "simplified".

OpenStudy (littlebird):

However, your answer is true. Radical 6 times radical 8 is radical 48.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So if I were to have a test I would just multiply the two radicals?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I cant use a calculator on the test

OpenStudy (littlebird):

Yes

Thanks! c:

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Generally, simplified form is considered more acceptable, but no less correct.
