evaluate the function f(x)=-(x-2) when x =3 x=0 x=-4

OpenStudy (australopithecus):

f(x) is just another way of writing y, it is mostly used because you can use it to describe points in a function and avoids confusing when talking about multiple functions. Moving on, to solve this problem you simply replace x in the equation with the number it states and solve it. Remember to follow BEDMAS and you should be fine
