there are the four intervals, they each have length \(\frac{1}{2}\) and the midpoits (lets use decimals, easier to write) are \[.25,.75,1.25,1.75\]
your job is to evaluate the function at those numbers, add them up, then multiply the result by \(.5\)
it is a calculator exercise for sure have fun
So when it says m4, it isn't referring to only the last section?

i think they are calling M4 your answer midpoint with 4 intervals just a guess though
