The picture frame covers an area equal to 121in^2... You know that the area of a square is xy. And since it's a square, x and y are equal to each other. Take the square root of 121 in^2. You should get 11 inches. See if that works. Draw a square, label the length and width 11 inches. 11 times 11 equals 121.
