Well, here's the thing..... correlation coefficient measures the strength of the linear relationship between two variables.

r=-1 means the strongest, negative relationship
r=+1 means the strongest, positive relationship

r=0 means no relationship

So in light of that, what do you think the correct answer is?

(Although I think the question is poorly worded; what it really is asking is, which correlation coefficient indicates the strongest relationship; or the highest degree of correlation.)

I could have sworn your answer said "c, right?" I guess I misread. So sorry to have given you my time and effort to try to explain the concept. Of course, if you understood my explanation, you have no need for someone to "verify" your answer, you KNOW what the correct answer is, so why even post here??

You dont have to say sorry.. And thank you for the explanation..Repetition is the mother of learning. Besides many others read the posts here so everybody learn from other.. As for the last scale of your question.. Here is not a place to just give answers, but to help other to find the answer..  And yes I want to verify the answer because 2 brains are always smarter than 1. Maybe someone see something that I didnt see even if is something very simple..
