V = lwh solve for "w"

I have the answer I think, I just want to make sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

v = lwh Isolate the w w = v / lh In order to do so, just do the opposite. Since you are trying to solve for w, all you have to do is get l(length) and h(height) over to the left side to solve for w. By doing so, you just divide since you want to do the opposite and you will arrive at a final answer of w = v / lh.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

v/lh=wlh/lh w=v/(lh)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

V = lwh divide both sides by "lh" V/lh = w? would that be right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay awesome, I was right! thanks. I didnt know that I could've divided that way. silly me, thanks!
