Basically 3 is the Y-intercept, the vertical line going up to down. If it is -3 you go down to -3, 2/3 is the slope, RISE/Run After plotting youre y intercept you use your slope to build the line, You rise 2(Up 2), then run 3(Right 3) IF it was -2/3 you would go down 2 since it is -2, if was -2/-3 it would be the same as 2/3 becasue going down 2 and to the left 3 will make the same line as going up 2 right 3, In cases where x is alone the slope is 1/1, up 1 down 1, -x means -1/1. Thats basically it.
