Object A with a mass of 1.5 kilograms is moving with a velocity of +11.2 meters/second (moving in the +x direction). It has a perfectly elastic collision with stationary object B that has a mass of 4.5 kilograms. After the collision, object B travels with a velocity of +5.6 meters/second. What is the final velocity for object A?
please someone helppp !!!! Physics its super hard
A bus and a car have an inelastic head-on collision. The bus has a mass of 1.5 × 103 kilograms and an initial velocity of +20 meters/second. The car has a mass of 9.5 × 102 kilograms and an initial velocity of -26 meters/second. What is their total momentum after the collision? helpppppppp pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Because of the conservation of linear momentum in your problem, we have P(initial)=P(final)=m1v1+m2v2
That's ok?
