ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

got a pic attached wid this problem ?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

question looks bit cryptic.. can u take a snapshot of what u seeing and post it ? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok this is the question given ABC=PQR, MB= 3V+4, AND MQ=8V-6, FIND MB AND MQ. i DONT KNOW HOW TO PUT THE TRIANGLES

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

you may use the "Draw" button below and draw if u want :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i mean the triangles before the the letters

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

ohk got it :) then its a simple problem

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

since, \(\triangle ABC \cong \triangle PQR,\) \(\angle B = \angle Q\) by CPCTC so, 3V+4 = 8V-6 solve V

OpenStudy (anonymous):

v=3 right

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

3V+4 = 8V-6 subtract 3V both sides 4 = 5V-6 add 6 both sides 10 = 5V divide 5 both sides 2 = V V = 2

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

so V = 2 :) next, simply substitute V=2 in the given MB & MQ to get their values

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait so how would i do that

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

MB= 3V+4, AND MQ=8V-6 put V=2 MB= 3*2+4, AND MQ=8*2-6 MB= 10, AND MQ=10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh snap i didnt even know that thanks alot for helping :)

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

np :)
