I was just wondering if you could tell me i did this right? The article is from an online database through my school. Doran, Andrew. “Thrown to the Lions- by America.” Front lines (2013): 6-7. Print.
MLA, APA, Chicago, what?
what do you need help with ?
i remermber learning this so hmmmmmm...... the only things missing i would be publisher and city it was published in.
Definitely not APA. If I'm wrong, it is way off. Looks more like MLA. MLA reference would be as follows for an article from an online database. Lastname, Firstname. "Title of Article." Title of Periodical or Journal [in italics] volume.issue (year): startpage-endpage. Name of Database [in italics]. Web. Date Month Year [of retrieval]. OR Lastname, Firstname. "Title of Article." Title of Periodical or Journal [in italics] article publication date [ie., 24 Oct. 2000: startpage-endpage. Name of Database [in italics]. Web. Retrieval date [i.e., 13 Mar. 2013]. So really the only errors I can see are: 1. there should be either volume/issue numbers after the periodical name (not just the year). 2. at the end it should be Web. Retrieval date. if she really did get it off an onliune database through the school.
