If you are referring the South American fruit, than there does not seem to be much evidence that it is used as glue or an ingredient in a glue formula. As with most any fruit, the juice is sticky and if applied on paper will cause it to stick together upon drying, although using fruit juice as an adherent usually makes for sloppy presentation and causes damage to the paper and any images thereon
