anyone knows how to design an electronic dice with LED. Please help me
Do you have an Arduino Uno? You could create a led dice with that. http://www.funnyimagination.com/Arduino/dice_circuit.jpg
Also I got a few printed circuit boards for electronic dices. I could take some pictures, maybe you'll understand how it works.
Components needed: 7x Light-emitting diode (LED) 3x 560 Ohms resistor (green, blue, brown, gold) 2x 100,000 Ohms resistor (100 KiloOhms) resistor (brown, black, yellow, gold) 1x BYV 38V vishay fast diode 1x Texas Instruments CD4029BE IC (Integrated circuit) (this is a binary counter IC) 1x Philips HEF40106BP IC (Hex inverting Schmitt trigger) 1x capacitor \(\underline{\sf 103}\)
thanks a lot,two more questions, what do you use to put all your components in the circuits, and what kind of a component is used as a switch and how do you put it?
By soldering it on the printed circuit board of course :) I didn't use the actual switch in the one on the photo (I just connected the 2 holes in the board with a wire do it will turn on when the battery is connected) In another one I used some plastic switch from another device (you could use anything, like 2 wires and connect them to switch it on. The 2 metal plates on the circuit board are there to roll the dice again, you'd have to press it with a finger to close the circuit and a new number will be randomly chosen. You could use a universal circuit board for this dice and connect everything with insulated wires (to prevent shortcircuit). Just look at the lines on the pictures to see how everything should be connected. Also it's important to have the correct IC's
