How about start with writing down the topic that interests u (if your teacher didn't assign the topic). Second, do the outline and write your thesis statement. I guarantee that if you did the outline first, writing the rough draft will be easy as a peace of cake. Writing the outline helps you to organize your thought and helps u think through your topic. You will also eliminate on having writers block, cuz having a writers block can easily delay u from writing your essay. So, if you start with a good flow and organization of information, the editing process will go much faster.
