Consider acid rain that was measured to have a pH of 2.5. How many times more acid is this acid rain than typical rain with a pH of about 6?

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

One change in pH is a factor of 10 in terms of acidity. 6 -2.5 = 3.5 pH difference So the difference in acidity is 10^3.5 = 3,160
