Solve 4x + 7 = 6x – 1

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Have you considered Subtracting 4x or adding 1?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

we want the x's on one side and everything else on the other side. So first, subtract 6x from both sides or another way would be to add 1 to both sides. Do one of those and we will continue.
