OpenStudy (anonymous):

25+48 73

my favorite number

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

If you mean \(5x^5 + 24x^2 \), then it cannot be simplified any further since the terms are unlike terms.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

98

OpenStudy (silvertiger):

5x5= 25 24x2= 48 Then, add 'em 25+48= 73 There ya go ;)

OpenStudy (silvertiger):

Excuse me...@Phil420 How is the answer 98? O.o Explain... (Elaborate on your working- in other words show how you got to your answer)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (silvertiger):

Follow the principle of BIMDAS (or whatever you may call it in your country). Google it if your don't believe me...

OpenStudy (silvertiger):

B= Brackets I= Indices M= Multiplication D= Division A= Addition S= Subtraction

OpenStudy (silvertiger):

You MUST multiply FIRST before you add anything in the equation..

OpenStudy (silvertiger):

As multiplication comes before Addition..
