Internal conflict occurs when a force within the character is against him/her.
If someone is possessed by a ghost, would it be considered external or internal conflict. I still say external because it is not the person, and it is a ghost. Help?

It would be dependent on one thing: In the story, are they possessed by a ghost or do they just think they are they possessed by a ghost.  If they actually are, then it is an external force.  But if they are using the thought of possession as a "reason" to do thing, then it is their internal conflicts that are the true source.
