I have to write up an experiment about the efficeiency of seat belts while testing things like acceleration and speed. I can use a ramp, some toy cars, masking tape, stop watch, toys etc.

Measure a distance on a flat, smooth surface, which you will use for every trial. Tie a string to the toy car, strap on a toy with some tape. Pull the string (at different rates/speeds, which you will find by timing from when you pull the string until impact) and crash it into something. Observe at which speed the toy comes off. You should replace the tape every trial. It would be even better if you had some sort of motor and could rotate to wind up the string. Get someone else to work the stopwatch.
