So if its linear in x, this means the power of x in the equation is 1.
Oh, you were one of the students I told to sign up on here, haha.
I'm guessing I am really confused about how to determine if the equation is linear and yes haha
Well, it solely depends on the power of x in the equation: |dw:1378098880079:dw| Thats pretty much all there is to it. If the power of x in the equation is anything but a power of 1, it is not linear.
Also the only radicand is the x not x+5 I should have typed it different
