OpenStudy (anonymous):

the profit percent is 50

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just checking what is the right formula what is the topic you are learning?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the profit percent of company in the year 2006 is 50

OpenStudy (anonymous):

profit percent=(income-exp/exp)*100

OpenStudy (anonymous):

perfect so, let's work on it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i for income and e for the expenditures so e = 75,000 right? so, would you please plug the value of e into the formula?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but ans is not coming 50=(Income-75000/75000)*100

OpenStudy (anonymous):

checking

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3750000-7500000=100Inc

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

37500:75000

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so ratio will be

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you have any question so far? why division if 75,000 is subtracting at the right side we have to add it at both sides

OpenStudy (anonymous):

does it make sense to you? [:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

income =3750000

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you please check it again

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because we must add 75,000 to the value we got: 37,500 is that clear?

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

WELCOME TO OPENSTUDY!! :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Please be very careful with the opposite operations, if you have a subtraction the opposite operation is the sum and if you have a multiplication you have as the inverse operation the division. Does this problem make sense to you? @rathi2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes 45000000/100=450000

OpenStudy (anonymous):

450:75

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sry 112500=incom

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh right i got =its ratio is 3:2.made a mistake instead of addition i subtrated it

Good for you & good luck with your studies. [:
