WELCOME TO OPENSTUDY!! Okay, so for this question.. When they ask when it crosses the x-axis they are asking for the x-iINTERCEPTS So to find the x-intercept y = 0 So Solve the quadratic equation with x, taking y=0 Find the roots. And the VALUES OF x WILL BE THE POINTS where it touches the x-axis! :D Understood @omar1234? :)
