I can solve up to\[y=\frac{ 1-x }{ -3 }\] but I don't know how to simplify from there. All help is appreciated!

u have 2 unknown, so u need 2 equation i think

\[y= \frac{ 1 }{ 3 }x - \frac{ 1 }{ 3 }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can seperate the -3 to each term the 1 and the -x and simplify the signs
